2005 Epiphone Les Paul Standard | Qingdao Plant, Truly An Excellent Player, Sounds Great!
This Epiphone Les Paul Standard is finished in a really nice and slightly unique Heritage Cherry Sunburst. The yellow portion is much more concentrated than I'm used to seeing which is kinda growing on me, especially without the pickguard (has been mounted but not available to include).
The neck has a great feel and there's very minimal fretwear. The factory Grover tuners are a nice aesthetic touch and add to its overall stability. The action is low and comfortable without any fret buzz or "fretting out" while bending.
The controls have a great taper, and sweep without any noise or static. The overall tone is surprisingly clean in the neck and the bridge is bright without being shrill.
This LP does show a bit of wear and has been depicted as accurately as possible. There is some very minor button rash on the back, a tiny nick in the back of the neck, and two longer narrow dings - one on the side and one on a corner edge. Noticeable when looking for them, but do not detract from the overall great look.
The playability on this one cannot be stressed enough and it would make a fantastic player's guitar or modding base. Complete with a Gibsons "Wedge" Gigbag.
